Actualizado a las 11:35 h.La 63ª edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Gijón/Xixón dio a conocer un palmarés marcado por la diversidad de miradas y la consolidación de nuevas voces del cine internacional. Entre los premios principales, «Al Oeste, en Zapata», de David Bim, se alzó con el galardón al mejor largometraje de la Sección Oficial Albar, mientras Eszter Tompa y Ben Wishaw fueron reconocidos como mejores intérpretes. En la dirección, el premio recayó en Ángel Santos por «Así chegou a noite».
El festival también destacó el talento emergente y las propuestas más arriesgadas, con reconocimientos para filmes como «Los bobos», «Skiff», «Loynes», «Magic Farm» o «A la cara», además de otorgar diversos premios del público, juveniles y especializados, que completan un palmarés extenso y representativo de la vitalidad del FICX.
